Frank Fletcher
Accredited by The Law Society of Scotland as a Specialist in Trust Law
Born in 1952, Frank was brought up in Glasgow and educated at Allan Glen’s School and Glasgow University where he graduated LLB in 1973. In that year, Frank joined what was then Crawford, Herron & Cameron, just in time to take part in its amalgamation with Bird, Son and Semple to form Bird Semple and Crawford Herron. After completing his apprenticeship, Frank ran the firm’s Stornoway branch office and became the firm’s first “offshore” partner on 1st January 1979.
Frank returned to Glasgow later that year and, since his return, has specialised in Succession, Capital Taxes Planning and AgeCare. He is a Notary Public and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. Frank is also a member of the Scottish Law Commissions advisory panel on Trust law. Frank is married with two children and in his spare time enjoys walking, angling, cycling and amateur genealogy.
