Elspeth Talbot
Elspeth grew up in Glasgow and graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LLB in 1990. Elspeth joined Bird Semple as a partner in October 2003, having previously been a partner in BMK Wilson and its predecessor Borland Montgomerie Keyden. In February 2008, Elspeth retired as a partner of the firm in order to run a family business but remains associated with the firm as a Consultant.
Elspeth specialises in Wills, Trusts, Executries, Capital Tax Planning, Powers of Attorney, Guardianships and work with elderly clients. She is a member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners and a tutor on the Private Client module of the Diploma in Legal Practice. Elspeth is married with two children and her hobbies include gardening, swimming and reading. She is learning to speak Norwegian.
