We live during a time when the number of people over retirement age is growing steadily. But although we are all living longer, not everyone enjoys good health.
As we grow older we naturally look to our children and wider families for help and support if we become frail or forgetful. But nowadays children often live a long way from their parents, perhaps even abroad. Also, those children who live more locally find that their responsibilities to their own children and careers prevent them from helping as quickly or as consistently as they would like. Sadly, many elderly people have no close family at all.
AgeCare is a service that helps elderly people to manage their legal and financial affairs. It also helps families who, because of distance or other commitments, cannot care for elderly relatives.
When we were developing AgeCare we had many meetings with clients and service providors to make sure the service would meet clients’ needs.
AgeCare is provided by a dedicated group of lawyers. They are very experienced in advising our elderly clients and their families on any aspect of the client’s legal and financial affairs.
We work closely with organisations who are involved in caring for elderly people. We can call on those organisations quickly when needed, for example to find the most convenient agency to provide a private home help for you or your relative.

We believe that AgeCare is a unique and valuable service that delivers a full range of services from one central source. As a firm of solicitors, our service is totally independent and unbiased. We have no agreements with other organisations which provide care for or services to elderly people. We will work with you, and your family if that is suitable, to make sure we meet your particular needs.

There is no fixed fee for this service, because not everyone will use it in the same way. However, we are always happy to talk to you about fees.
